Snow?

It was just an average January day, and this is what we woke to. Yes, it did snow in Southern California!!! The snow fell for a few hours and managed to stay on the ground long enough for us to play in it.
Bella thought it was GREAT! We didn't even take the time to get dressed. We just threw on sweats shirts and shoes and went outside in our PJs. She kept telling us that Santa was coming...which makes sense. After all the only time she sees snow is in Christmas books. We tried to tell her that Santa already came, but she didn't believe us. We then went down the street and threw snowballs with the boys. They were much better at it then Bella, but still had poor aim, so no one got hit in the face. And Bella didn't seem to care if she was hit, she just loved running around. I don't know that we'll have another occassion like this (at least while we live in a desert known for it's wonderful mild winters) but we will certainly have to get our family up to the mountains for some real snow play next winter!
