Bella's Princess Dress

The Princess Genevive dress from Grandma was a HUGE hit for Bella's birthday. She is actually jumping in the picutre. The true mark of it's approval was the enthusiatic, " Let's go hang it in my closet, Grandma!"
She wore it the next day at her party with great pride. She walked out with her chin held high, eyes batting, and arms floating out at her side. She loved playing the part of princess.

Her is the end of the party, Bella in her princess dress sitting in her chair. She was not happy to balloons tied to it though. Bella is so big that she knew exactly when to blow out her candles..right on cue. So great, we actually missed the picture of it.The Dora fairy castle cake was a day long project that I could NOT have done with out Grandma...thanks mom. Next year we will use a mold I pay $8.99 for at the cake store, swiss rolls instead of HoHo's, and POWERED sugar the first time we make butter cream frosting no matter what the cake book seems to say. Wait, next year will have to be a different cake, I might not get to use those lessons again, but I sure will remember the laughs we had making it.

The cake looks FABULOUS! You are much more adventurous than I am. And Bella looks get in her dress. Now if you can just get her to wear some other pants...

PANTS??? Yeah right. I bought her a skirt and long sleeve shirt yesterday just so that I can put tights on her and get her in warm clothes. It is freezing here and she is still refusing to wear the "scary" jeans.
